The Account Manager strategically sells Cinemark USA as a premier event venue to drive ancillary revenue and attendance while executing private events within a designated territory from proposal stage to closing. This position serves as the day-to-day point of contact for external clients across all industry and market segments booking Premium Private Screenings, Field Trips, Theatre Church, Meetings, Studio Marketing Events and more.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Cultivate relationships with key clients in order to produce additional business.</li><li>
Conduct market research to identify and acquire new clients.</li><li>
Prospect new business partnerships to expand Cinemark&rsquo;s reach.</li><li>
Serve as a formal resource for standards and best practices as part of the &quot;Private Event Terms &amp; Conditions&quot;.</li><li>

Role Summary:
Cinemark Bartenders prepare accurate, high quality, and consistent beverages, following recipes in accordance with Cinemark standards. A Bartender does not just take orders &ndash; they provide suggestions and use selling techniques to increase the order while enhancing the Guest&rsquo;s visit. They will maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing an extraordinarily memorable Guest experience.
Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities of a Bartender include, but are not limited to, the following:<ul><li>
Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner</li><li>
Possesses full knowledge of bar and menu items and makes recommendations</li><li>
Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
</li><li>Verifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions</li><li>
Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only</li><li>
Consistently uses suggestive selling techniques</li><li>
Collaborates with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate</li><li>
Delivers food and beverage orders within established time frames</li><li>
Processes payment for completed guest orders</li><li>
Maintains appropriate stock levels for the bar</li><li>
Assists the General Manager on duty with placing orders for all liquor and bar related supplies</li><li>
Consistently wipes down and sanitizes Employee and Guest high-contact areas</li><li>
Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks</li><li>
Adapts to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks</li><li>
Monitors safety and/security issues (trip hazards, lighting, suspicious persons, etc.) and reports issues to management</li><li>
Performs other work-related duties as assigned</li></ul>
Requirements:
<ul><li>Bartenders need to be at least 21 years of age</li><li>
Completes basic food handling training and obtains any local or state mandated certification, health card, or food handlers permit where required</li><li>
Team Members who work with alcohol are required to complete a Safe Alcohol Service training program</li><li>
Prior experience in a high-volume bar environment preferred</li><li>
Availability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays
</li><li>Requires regular and consistent attendance
</li><li>Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
</li><li>Provides excellent Guest service
</li><li>Accurate cash handling and basic math skills</li><li>
Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities. Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English

</li><li>Ability to take and follow direction</li><li>
Responds with a sense of urgency</li></ul>
Physical and Environmental Requirements:<ul><li>
Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Frequent standing, walking and reaching around the theater.</li><li>
Noise level may be moderate to high at times.</li><li>
Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.</li></ul>
