JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:<ul><li>
The main function of a QA test analyst is to develop and execute software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes. An entry level QA test analyst will typically run scripts given to them; as they progress, the analyst is responsible for the development of scripts.</li><li>
This position is for a Systems/Quality Validation engineer to support the Minestar Fleet product within the Robotics division. The position will work as part of an engineering team which designs, develops, and tests software features on embedded electronic controls and displays for use in Mining vehicle applications.</li><li>
Validation of user interface and embedded software solutions; Bug identification and documentation; Bug resolution working with developers to triage and troubleshoot; Estimating and planning effort for test case generation; Manually executing test cases and scripting for test automation; Coordinating with a global team of systems, software, and validation teams.</li></ul>
DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Daily standup meeting with global team</li><li>
Execute test plans for new software releases</li><li>
Develop new test plans for new features and bug resolutions</li><li>
Identify, debug, and document found issues</li><li>
Communicate with System engineers and development teams</li></ul>
EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field</li><li>
Minimum 3 years' experience</li><li>
Experience in software validation</li></ul>
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:<ul><li>
Software in the loop (SIL) and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) with strong documentation and communication</li><li>
Python, scripting, test automation</li><li>
Communication and collaboration</li><li>
Test Case documentation</li><li>
Electronic hardware troubleshooting and maintenance</li></ul>

DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Proper packaging design includes part containment, protection, and optimization of transportation and other supply network functions.</li><li>
Provide NPI support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Part Suppliers in developing packaging solutions to machine components. Design for transport efficiency.</li><li>
Validate new packaging and containers during pilot phase. Coordinate with assembly planning for line-side storage and ergonomic considerations.</li><li>
Develop kitting/ sequencing packaging for in-plant use. Resolve safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging. Perform containerization analysis and quoting as required.</li><li>
Manage repair/maintenance of Returnable Packaging. Research and analyze supplier design proposals, specifications, drawings to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.</li><li>
Communicate with existing facilities on packaging issues related to receiving, warehousing, and/or line side delivery. Lead medium to high-risk Green Belt projects with product and logistics groups.</li></ul>
EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>
Bachelors in Packaging Engineering degree preferred, Mechanical, Industrial, and Supply Chain Engineer degrees will be accepted. [2+ years]</li></ul>
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:<ul><li>
3D modeling or Creo experience</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office and Modeling Software</li><li>
Advanced packaging / transportation experience</li></ul>
DESIRED SKILLS:<ul><li>
Commensurate Project management experience</li></ul>
