 Position Summary:
 
 
 
 We are seeking a
 
 Software Development Engineer
 
 to join our fast-growing digital health engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, startup environments and is eager to take on increasing leadership responsibilities. You will play a central role in architecting, developing, and scaling cloud-based software solutions, while collaborating closely with our Head of Engineering to define and execute product roadmaps.
 
 
 This position offers the opportunity to help establish and grow our India engineering hub and is intended for someone seeking a long-term (4+ years) leadership trajectory within the organization.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions aligned with business and user needs.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Architect and implement cloud-native systems using AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, Bedrock, etc.).
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in multiple programming languages, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality, security, and maintainability.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient deployments.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure applications are intuitive, performant, and visually consistent.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Support the Head of Engineering in defining and executing feature development timelines and technical priorities.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Collaborate on large-scale projects, ensuring seamless integration across systems and adherence to architectural standards.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Stay current with emerging technologies, software design patterns, and AWS advancements to continuously improve our tech stack and practices.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3+ years of professional experience in software development, with proven experience designing and scaling production systems.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong proficiency in Python and MySQL.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hands-on experience with AWS (including EC2, RDS, Lambda, Bedrock, and related services).
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience architecting scalable, reliable backend services in a distributed environment.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience using tools such as Jira and modern collaboration platforms.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Prior experience in a startup environment and ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrated code review and technical mentorship experience.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and Agile methodologies.
 
 
 
 
 ●&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
