General DescriptionAssists Foreman with project management needs; mentors Helpers, and assists with the completion of electrical projects. Works at construction sites, factories, businesses, and residences.Primary Responsibilities&middot; Installs electrical components, systems and equipment as required by scope of projects.&middot; Mentors Helpers and provides exceptional support to Foreman through workmanship and suggestions on completing assigned projects timely and efficiently.&middot; Assists Foreman in assessing equipment, materials and labor needed to complete projects and communicates needs to Foreman.&middot; Consistently works within proper safety regulations and rules.&middot; Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets and assembly schematic drawings as needed.&middot; Communicates with employees, co-workers, customers and other trades with respect and professionalism.&middot; Confers with Foreman and makes recommendations on projects.&middot; May be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, overtime or adjusted hours as needed based on project demands.&middot; Demonstrates self-motivation and considerable desire to continue development in the electrical field including but not limited to Apprenticeship and Journeyman programs/certifications.&middot; Other duties as assigned.Work Experience Requirements&middot; Minimum of 5 years electrical industry experience (commercial or residential).&middot; Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months.&middot; Must be knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical operations and components.&middot; Working knowledge of single phase and three phase wiring, motors, programmable controls, circuits and National Electrical Code &amp; NFPA rules.Physical Demands:<ul><li>Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, crouching, stooping, crawling.</li><li>Lift or carry up to 50lbs.</li><li>Must by physically capable of pushing and pulling with force to manipulate wires in conduits as well as use and manipulate power tools and equipment.</li><li>Use your hands to handle, control, feel, or use objects, tools, or controls; significant fine finger dexterity.</li><li>Repetitive movements.</li><li>Climb and balance on ladders or scaffolds at various heights.</li><li>Walk or run for long periods of time.</li><li>Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.</li><li>Work in extreme temperatures and some hazardous conditions.</li><li>Physically demanding schedule.</li></ul>Psychosocial Demands:<ul><li>Understanding and memory</li><li>Sustained concentration and persistence</li><li>Social interaction</li><li>Adaptation</li><li>Responsibility and accountability</li></ul>We are a Drug Free Workplace and Equal Opportunity EmployerJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>People with a criminal record are encouraged to applyExperience:<ul><li>Commercial electrician: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>OSHA 10 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
