Duties/Responsibilities:
 
<ul><li>Bid and book Expedite customer loads</li>
<li>Call and book carriers to cover Expedite customer loads</li>
<li>Contact Carriers and ensure they deliver time sensitive freight on time</li>
<li>Match customer demand with quotes for their freight-related inquiries</li>
<li>Build strategies that will result in increased sales and stronger partnerships</li>
<li>Enter new load orders into our proprietary web-based software</li>
<li>Ensure all details of shipments are properly notated in each load</li>
<li>Communicate daily with shippers and receivers to schedule pick up and delivery appointments</li>
<li>Maintain and collect proper paperwork for each shipment</li>
<li>Resolve billing discrepancies with a customer or internal billing team</li>
<li>Initiate &ldquo;check calls&rdquo; to track and trace drivers on all pickups and deliveries</li>
<li>Assist with converting drivers to MacroPoint tracking</li>
<li>Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement</li>
<li>Escalate freight-related issues to the appropriate teams</li>
</ul>Skills/Abilities:

<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask</li>
<li>Superb time management and organizational skills</li>
<li>Extraordinary attention to detail and teamwork skills</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving and time management skills</li>
</ul>Willingness to be available after hours and weekends if needed 
 
Education and Experience:
 
<ul><li>Call center experience preferred</li>
<li>Freight brokerage experience is a bonus</li>
<li>Experience in an office setting with proficiency in various aspects of customer service</li>
</ul>Benefits:
