Join our dedicated team as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) in the Texas area, where you will play a crucial role in delivering individualized occupational therapy services to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. At Circle of Care, we don't just provide therapy; we build lasting relationships with our patients and their families, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate care. 
Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Participate in the development and periodic revision of the plan of care</li><li>
Schedules, plans activities and provides rehabilitative services for Physical therapy</li><li>
Maintains adequate records on all patients, including summary reports. Follow agency documentation timelines as published in Employee Handbook.</li><li>
Utilizes community resources and Agency personnel for proper referral</li><li>
Selects and administers diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and materials. Submit diagnostic assessments within agency timelines as published in Employee handbook.</li><li>
Instructs and counsels other health team personnel and family members in methods of assisting patient in improving, correcting, and accepting his/her disabilities</li><li>
Supervise the PTA as follows: Follow guidelines for supervision as outlined by the Executive Council for Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Examiners</li><li>
Complete Supervisory Visits with patients treated by an assistant at least once every 60 days.</li><li>
Attends monthly case conferences meetings and additional meetings as requested</li><li>
Participates in staff development activities and in-service education as requested</li><li>
Confirms schedule at least one week prior to the upcoming visits and adjust schedule as changes occur.</li><li>
Communicate and correspond with office staff in a timely manner.</li><li>
Notifies Agency of absences due to illness, emergency leave, normal vacation periods, or special professional meetings, which will all affect agreed services with the Agency.</li><li>
Participates with staff, patient, and physician in discharge planning activities and completes the Physical therapy discharge summary within the designated framework of the Agency policies.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications:<ul><li>
Graduate of a physical therapy program accredited and approved by the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE).</li><li>
Current Texas license to practice as a Physical Therapist in good standing.</li><li>
Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates are encouraged to apply).</li><li>
Employees are required to provide and maintain their own reliable mobile device and/or computer capable of supporting company systems and applications. Consistent access to secure, high-speed internet is also required to perform job responsibilities effectively.</li><li>
Employees must have access to a reliable personal vehicle to fulfill job responsibilities. A valid driver&rsquo;s license and current motor vehicle insurance meeting state requirements must be maintained at all times. Employees must maintain a driving record that is acceptable in accordance with company policy and any applicable insurance requirements</li></ul>
