POSITION: PURCHASE EXECUTIVE (Purchase &amp; Store)Basic Job Description: A Purchase Executive in the Indian QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations by maintaining a steady supply of materials, ingredients, packaging, and equipment. Procurement &amp; Sourcing&middot; Source raw materials (e.g., vegetables, spices, meat, dairy) and packaging (e.g., containers, napkins, disposable cutlery).&middot; Ensure the timely purchase of food-grade items and non-food items like uniforms, cleaning materials, etc.&middot; Identify and qualify vendors and suppliers.2. Vendor Management&middot; Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.&middot; Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery timelines, and contracts.&middot; Evaluate vendor performance (quality, cost, delivery consistency).3. Inventory Management&middot; Monitor inventory levels and reorder as needed.&middot; Coordinate with warehouse or central kitchen teams to track stock.&middot; Minimize wastage and avoid stockouts or overstocking.4. Cost Control &amp; Budgeting&middot; Ensure procurement within allocated budgets.&middot; Monitor market price trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.&middot; Maintain cost sheets and regularly update price comparisons.5. Quality Assurance &amp; Compliance&middot; Ensure all procured items meet FSSAI and QSR brand standards.&middot; Work with QA/QC teams to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance.&middot; Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.6. Coordination with Internal Teams&middot; Work closely with operations, kitchen, finance, and logistics teams.&middot; Align procurement with menu changes, new product launches, or seasonal campaigns.7. System &amp; Reporting&middot; Maintain procurement records in ERP or POS systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or restaurant-specific software).&middot; Prepare daily/weekly/monthly procurement and cost reports.&middot; Track delivery schedules and resolve discrepancies.8. Logistics Coordination&middot; Ensure timely delivery of goods to all outlets or commissaries.&middot; Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.&middot; Optimize routes and delivery frequencies to control costs.Desired Skills &amp; Qualifications:&middot; Knowledge of F&amp;B procurement, supply chain, or hospitality sourcing.&middot; Familiarity with Indian food standards (FSSAI regulations).&middot; Good negotiation and communication skills.&middot; Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.&middot; Experience with multi-unit QSR brands (e.g., Domino&rsquo;s, Pizza Hut, McDonald&rsquo;s, Wow!
