<div>Specific Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order</li>
<li>Prepare and serve cocktails to customers following hotel guidelines</li>
<li>Clean and organize bar to beverage department standards</li>
<li>Prepare order to replenish stock at bar to pre-determined par levels</li>
<li>Provide exceptional service to customers</li>
<li>Follow departmental cash handling policies and procedures</li>
<li>Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers</li>
<li>Knowledge of wine and champagne service at table games</li>
<li>Work station must be maintained and left stocked and cleaned for next shift</li>
<li>Garnish drinks</li>
<li>Ensure correct health and sanitation practices are followed</li>
<li>Ensure the correct glassware / stemware is used according to Beverage Department standards</li>
<li>Acknowledge every guest with a prompt and friendly greeting</li>
<li>Answer questions related to property correctly and professionally</li>
<li>Handle cash, credit cards and room charges in accordance with departmental procedures</li>
<li>Assist new employees with training and answering questions</li>
<li>Check ID's if the guest appears to be under 30</li>
<li>Replace dirty ashtrays by capping off ashtrays with a clean ashtray</li>
<li>React to the needs of management for special host requests</li>
<li>Inform management of any problems or concerns</li>
<li>Be ethical and professional at all times</li>
<li>Communicate with Management to keep them informed of special requests from a guest</li>
<li>Answer telephone using the property telephone etiquette standards</li>
<li>Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department</li></ul> 


Responsibilities/Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum one year bartending experience in a high-volume hotel / restaurant required</li>
<li>Pleasing personality and ability to communicate with customers</li>
<li>Communicate effectively in English both verbally and written forms</li>
<li>Knowledge of ABC laws</li>
<li>Professional appearance demeanor a must</li></ul></div>
