Position Summary: 
The Sr. Financial Analyst will be a strategic thought and business partner to support both our engineering and manufacturing groups. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, participative manager. The Sr. Financial Analyst will participate in the development of a long-term operations strategy for the manufacturing and engineering groups, and they will drive execution of the key elements. He/she will create, monitor, and drive the achievement of financial operational metrics across all functional areas. The Sr. Financial Analyst is a critical participant in all significant decisions within the functional area, facilitating strong analysis and problem solving, as required. The Sr. Financial Analyst is expected to drive execution of key business initiatives and outcomes. It is expected that the Financial Analyst will drive process improvements through a variety of projects and initiatives that will result in superior financial performance. 
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Develop robust processes and reporting with clarity around operational activity in the month that drove the financial results.</li><li>
Own and drive the redevelopment of the standard cost process including leading the effort on labor rates, routings, and material cost through the annual standard cost roll.</li><li>
Works well with Finance peers at other sites to share best practices and help drive change, process improvements, and nimbleness.</li><li>
Enhance and/or develop reporting metrics and tools for the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of plant performance. Drive delivery of the financial commitments made by the Operations team.</li><li>
Ensure delivery of savings targets related to the company&rsquo;s key capital investments.</li><li>
Ensure that new capital investments and sourcing decisions are supported with sound financial analyses.</li><li>
Develop tools that can be leveraged going forward for future projects.</li><li>
Own the invoicing process for the engineering group to provide final review before sending to client(s).</li><li>
Provide support to the Program Management and Engineering teams to ensure development program milestones are achieved on time and within budget.</li></ul> 

Must Have:<ul><li>
Minimum of a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar.</li><li>
A seasoned financial and manufacturing operations professional with at least 7 years of related business experience and a progressive career path in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in contract manufacturing, engineering, and machining / molding operations.</li><li>
Strong experience driving key metrics, reporting, and &ldquo;anticipating&rdquo; key issues based on forecasts, manufacturing capacity, and partnering with the Operations leadership (Plant Manager) to mitigate risk.</li><li>
Honed analytical and problem-solving skills. A strong propensity to action and problem solving through sound judgement, proactivity, and efficient organization.</li><li>
Ability to communicate analyses and performance metrics in a clear, simple and compelling manner. Strong influencer with a demonstrated successful track record for highlighting areas of opportunity and partnering with the General Manager on measurable action plans.</li><li>
Well-developed cost/managerial accounting skills, including standard cost and project cost accounting.</li><li>
Strong sensitivity to the voice of the customer, both internal and external.</li><li>
Understand how to apply Operational Excellence and Lean tools to manage a business more effectively.</li><li>
Possess strong communication skills and a personable, engaging management style.</li><li>
Have provided documented business and organizational change leadership and, ideally, have been successful doing so in more than one company.</li><li>
Strong understanding of BOM&rsquo;s, Routing and variances and how they interact with the ERP system. Along with the ability to communicate issues and how they should be fixed.</li></ul> 

Anticipated salary range: $80,000-$125,000/year depending on qualifications and experience.
