Who are you?

You&rsquo;re a customer-focused professional with a passion for building relationships and helping people achieve their financial goals. As a Personal Banker, you&rsquo;ll be the go-to partner for clients&mdash;opening accounts, assisting with loans, and connecting customers to the right products and services. You&rsquo;ll play a key role in enhancing customer retention, supporting business development, and ensuring every client interaction reflects C&amp;N&rsquo;s commitment to service excellence.

You&rsquo;re detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is key. If you&rsquo;re ready to combine customer service expertise with financial knowledge, this role may be the perfect fit.

You will be responsible for:

<ul><li>Strengthening relationships and business development by opening personal and business accounts, enrolling clients in digital banking tools, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Identifying customer needs through conversations, offering tailored product recommendations, and referring clients to specialists when appropriate.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supporting lending functions by analyzing customer needs, originating consumer loans or home equity applications, and ensuring compliant loan documentation.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Performing teller and branch operations as needed, including handling deposits, withdrawals, wires, and debit card issuance.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintaining a well-rounded knowledge of C&amp;N&rsquo;s full product suite, including deposit, loan, and digital banking solutions.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Promoting community engagement by supporting local business development efforts and representing C&amp;N in the community.
</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards in all customer interactions.
</li></ul>
</div>Requirements:

Education &amp; Experience &ndash; You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Recommended Certifications &ndash; NMLS (within 1 year of employment)

Skills &ndash; You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas:
