 Job Purpose:
 
 
 
 The infrastructure engineer role is responsible of design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure that support our organization&rsquo;s IT operations. This includes ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of servers, networks, and storage systems to meet the business&rsquo;s needs, in addition to develop and suggest disaster recovery plans and procedures. Infrastructure Engineers ensure that critical systems and data are protected and can be quickly restored in the event of a failure or disaster, thereby supporting business continuity and minimizing downtime. The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide the needed support.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities &amp; Accountabilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage the IT installation, including complex server environments, LAN and WAN networks, VPN and application configurations
 </li>
 <li>
 Developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and control the infrastructure and network resources in addition to providing the needed support to fix and enhance the infrastructure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate technical aspects of the IT new projects, ensuring adherence to standards and requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the network security and ensure that the end users are secured.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide the needed support to the end users regarding network issues and security in addition to the basic support for the day-to-day operation IT issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor the network devices such as computers, printers, IP Phones, UPS and IOT devices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the servers and end user&rsquo;s backups.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage the communication and maintain the good relations between the IT department and the vendors for any of the department purchases.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for maintaining the organization&rsquo;s IT assets by fixing them in-house if needed or by sending them to be fixed or maintained by a third party.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure backup procedures are followed and storage and archival of historic data as per defined policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Tests and executes backup and disaster recovery for infrastructure solutions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct quarterly audit of all the organization IT assets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in yearly ISO audits to ensure compliance is met.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the organization data center (On premise and over cloud).
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Requirements and Skills
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Nutanix.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet Core switches, Wireless Controller.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of FortiGate Firewalls
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of VMWare Environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of Windows server, Domain controller, Cloud computing, IT security, networking, hardware and software.
 </li>
 <li>
 Having knowledge of the Avaya system is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Having knowledge of the Linux OS is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Having knowledge of managing the SQL and MYSQL databases is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience in managing IT infrastructure in complex environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with industry-standard technologies and best practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Good planning and organization skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Possession of valid Kuwait driving license is must.
 </li>
