Position: Designer I &amp; II - PT Water Pay: Designer I: $29.27 - $37.00/hr | Designer II: $32.20 - $40.00/hr Schedule: Up to 29 hours per week (varies) Location: City Utilities Engineering, Fort Wayne, IN
What You'll Do:<ul><li>
Collect, analyze, and verify project data for water system improvements</li><li>
Draft construction plans using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other design software</li><li>
Assist with planning, design, and construction engineering projects under supervision</li><li>
Manage project documentation and PMIS records, including permits and easement acquisition</li><li>
Coordinate with City staff and Capital Project Services to resolve project issues</li></ul>
Must-Have Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program</li><li>
Knowledge of hydraulics, hydrology, and engineering design principles</li><li>
Strong computer skills, including drafting and spreadsheet software</li><li>
Valid Indiana Driver's License</li></ul>
