A Clinical Research Associate I role is available under Dr Ravi Salgia, a thoracic oncologist. You will support the clinical and translational research program by performing a broad range of research activities. Clinical duties include patient screening and enrollment, informed consent, protocol coordination, and monitoring across oncology clinical trials. You will be responsible for abstracting and managing clinical, pathological, and outcomes data from electronic health records into research databases, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance throughout. This role also involves contributing to the preparation and submission of peer-reviewed manuscripts, conference abstracts, and presentations by conducting literature reviews, compiling data, and supporting writing and revision cycles. Additionally, you will assist in the development of research proposals and grant applications for federal and foundation funding mechanisms, including preparation of supporting documents and coordination of timely submissions. The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift staff which provide security functions to City of Hope. The supervisor assists in leading the provision of the City of Hope security services, for the protection of the City of Hope&rsquo;s patients, family members, employees, vendors and property assets, for the main campus, local community sites and for the operation of the parking facilities. In addition, manage the initial on-site response to emergency incidents at the Duarte campus. The role is also responsible for the overall shift management of the Security team.</p><p>

Assesses and provides patient and family education for every patient who received initial treatment, 02 therapy, procedure, or placed on ventilator. Evaluates patient&rsquo;s or family members&rsquo; responses on the new interdisciplinary patient and family education flow sheet.</li><li>
Accesses medications from medication room within scope of practice and according to proper protocol. Access in automated medication dispensing cabinets will limit access to certain drugs.</li><li>
Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.</li><li>
Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, workshops, and inservice meetings, etc.</li><li>
