As a Financial Analyst IV, you will provide advanced financial analysis and strategic support to the Houston Permitting Center (HPC) service line, a critical component of operations that ensures resource availability and cost alignment. In this role, you will strengthen oversight of liens by developing a comprehensive framework to understand lien activities, improve collection processes, and forecast lien collections. You will ensure accurate booking, reconciliation, and reporting of liens while delivering analytical insights and identifying alternative strategies for recovering operational costs.</p><p>
Additionally, you will serve as a key advisor to leadership and the Service Line Director by providing strategic performance analysis across all operational and administrative activities. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of an organizational performance framework to drive efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate with multi-departmental operational teams and leverage data to analyze performance variances, identify trends, and forecast operational impacts on financial outcomes. Your ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights will support decision-making and long-term strategic planning for the Houston Permitting Center.</p><p>
We are seeking a Financial Analyst IV with strong analytical skills who is strategically minded, a self-starter, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a trusted financial and business advisor by delivering performance insights that support leadership decision-making. You will also play a key role in fostering connections across internal teams and cross-departmental partners to drive alignment and achieve organizational goals.</p><p><b>
Key priorities include:</b></p><ul><li>

Integrates data from peer municipalities, economic indicators, and other external sources to enhance performance metric assessments and deliver actionable recommendations for operational improvements.</li><li>
Prepares, analyzes, and interprets complex operational reports to explain fluctuations in performance metrics and provides strategic recommendations to management at all levels.</li><li>
Leads improvements in lien collection processes by developing a comprehensive framework for measurement and oversight, while implementing controls to ensure accuracy and compliance in lien processing and financial reporting.</li><li>
Coordinates and assists with the preparation of monthly and annual KPI reports and strategic plans for assigned areas.</li><li>
Directs, manages, and conducts special and ad hoc information requests; reports results of findings to immediate, middle, and senior management.</li></ul><br>

WORKING CONDITIONS</b><br>
The office environment is physically comfortable and has no major sources of discomfort; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are occasional periods of stooping, bending, and be able to lift 40 pounds.<br>

The Airport Operations Specialist ensures operational excellence throughout the Airport Badging business unit of Bush Intercontinental Airport by providing friendly customer service while conducting badging operations to include background checks, manage data in spreadsheets and carry out clerical duties, including answering phones and preparing documents. The purpose of the Security group at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), one of three airports that make up the Houston Airport System (HAS), is to use intelligence-led, risk-based operations to enhance airport security, reduce fear, and provide a safe environment to the traveling public. Airport Security staff-members ensure compliance with Federal regulations as well as HAS Operating Instructions. The Airport Operations Specialist provides guidance to team members and customers to help facilitate the badging process required for obtaining their security clearance. The Airport Operations Specialist will facilitate the formation of company profiles for access control and billing functions and are responsible for providing all required training associated with the IAH Airport Badging Office. <b><i>Candidates must be able to obtain all security required badge access including Custom Border Patrol access within 6 months from the hire date.&quot;</i></b></p><p><b><br>
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Inspects airfields and airport terminal areas and the perimeter to ensure a safe and secure environment. Prepares inspection reports. Reports unsafe conditions and policy/procedure violations and initiates enforcement actions.</li><li>Maintains constant surveillance and radio contact with the Control Tower. Identifies and anticipates operational, safety and security concerns and initiates corrective action.</li><li>Meets and communicates with airline, tenant and airport personnel and resolves problems with airport customers and tenants.</li><li>Observes and reports tenant and airline activities to ensure compliance with airport leases, contracts, standards and policies/procedures. Reports violations to supervisor.</li><li>Performs airfield safety activities, such as monitoring construction and maintenance work activities in operational areas, removing birds and animals from runways and notifying airline personnel and TSA of dangerous runway conditions.</li><li>Initiates NOTAMS as required by federal regulations and maintains operations log of airfield activities.</li><li>Performs and maintains reports on security activities. Communicates and implements the airport security incentive program.</li><li>Performs and reports traffic and curbside management duties. Enforces parking regulations and issues parking citations. Initiates vehicle tows.</li><li>Contributes to the team effort by performing related duties as needed</li></ul><b><br>
WORKING CONDITIONS</b><br>
The position is routinely requires lifting of moderately heavy items, such as typewriters or records boxes (up to 40 pounds) and/or very long periods of walking and standing on rough surfaces on a routine basis. There are routine discomforts from exposure to moderate of heat, cold, moisture/wetness and unpleasant air conditions. The position may involve routine exposure to soiled materials and light chemical substances such as cleaning solutions. Performing these duties also involve operating city vehicles; making visual observations and differentiating details; applying specialized information; attending to details amid distractions; dealing with people in tense situations; using two-way radios; reacting quickly with dexterity and coordination. Must be willing and available to work all shifts, including rotation, weekends and holidays.</div><p></p>

The purpose of HOU Airport Security is to maintain a safe and secure environment for the traveling public and employees at HOU. This group ensures the airport maintains compliance with the TSA-approved Airport Security Plan, as well as TSA-mandated rules and regulations. We act as Subject Matter Experts during security emergencies and assist with the planning, training, and carrying out of mitigation efforts to reduce the threat level to HOU and enhance the overall airport security posture.<br>
<br>
The purpose of this position is to ensure all TSA regulatory requirements are met on each assigned shift. The Airport Operations Coordinator responds to TSA inquiries and interacts with<b> </b>TSA investigators, airline supervisors, and Houston Police Department (HPD) Officers and Supervisors. The position will be part of the unified command group during airport emergencies and reports to the Airport Operations Supervisor - Security.</p><p><b><i>

The Airport Operations Coordinator duties, but are not limited to:</b><br>
