About our Department:</b></div><div><b>
The General Services Department consists of several divisions in different locations throughout the City. The Facilities Projects Division manages new construction, additions, and alterations of City-owned buildings and parks. The Maintenance Division oversees the maintenance and janitorial services of City-owned structures and properties.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Building Custodian Position Overview:</b></div><div><b>
This is manual work cleaning, securing, and performing minor maintenance of public buildings and facilities. Work involves responsibility for routine cleaning and maintenance; opening and closing facilities; and responsibility for maintaining the security of public facilities particularly during public functions.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Qualifications and Necessary Special Requirements:</b></div><div><b>
A high school diploma or GED is desired; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Work requires the ability to read and write and some janitorial experience.</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
A valid driver&rsquo;s license is desired.</b></div><div><b>
Position Requires Working 2nd Shift</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
