<div>POLICE - DETECTIVE - (Police Officer I/II)

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an LPD Detective, you will:
<ul><li>Collaborate with outside agencies, specialized units, and community partners
</li><li>Conduct criminal investigations
<ul><li>Interviewing suspects, victims, witnesses</li></ul></li><li>
Gather, analyze, and preserve evidence to support successful case outcomes</li><li>
Maintain detailed case files
</li><li>Prepare investigative reports
</li><li>Prepare and execute arrest and search warrants, and other legal documents
</li><li>Work closely with Prosecutors to develop a strong case(s) for court
<ul><li>Testify in court, as needed</li></ul></li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Associate Degree in criminal justice, criminology, psychology, sociology, or related field PLUS two (2) years' law enforcement experience as a detective/investigator OR</li><li>
High School diploma or equivalent accreditation PLUS three (3) years of consecutive employment as a Police Officer I/II with the Lebanon Police Department (LPD) OR
</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent PLUS four (4) years' experience (civil or military) in a &quot;full-time&quot; Criminal Investigation Division/Department (CID) or Investigative Unit</li></ul>
LICENSING/CERTIFICATION<ul><li>
Valid Driver's License
</li><li>Class &quot;A&quot; or &quot;B&quot; Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) License</li></ul>
