<p></p><div><div>The City of Lewisville's Parks &amp; Recreation Department is currently seeking a Reservations Clerk to be a part of a great team that serves over 100,000 community members.</div><br>

Responsible for facility, ballfield, and LLELA reservations. Assists other department/division personnel as needed.</div><p></p>
<div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Essential Functions</b></h2></div>
<p></p><div><ul><li>Acts as a point of contact for the recreation department.</li><li>
Answers and directs phone calls and replies to email requests for information.</li><li>
Manages incoming and outgoing correspondence such as mail, email, and voicemail.</li><li>
Maintains official department records via electronic and hard-copy methods as appropriate.</li><li>
Prepares and/or enters a variety of information into applicable documents, spreadsheets, databases, membership systems, forms, notices, and other related areas.</li><li>
Registers program participants, processes membership applications and reserves facilities utilizing designated recreation software.</li><li>
Coordinates reservations, usage permits, billing and day-to-day operations for facility, ballfield, and LLELA reservations.</li><li>
Maintains knowledge of and provides information on services and functions provided by the City of Lewisville.</li></ul></div><p></p>

<div><p>Performs general administration and technical duties required to support activities and operations of the Information Technology Services department.</p></div><br>

Perform service desk functions, answers telephone, records, documents and troubleshoots customer issues.</li><li>
Perform duties associated with setup, configuration and installation of system software products and peripheral equipment.</li><li>
Program and troubleshoot personal computer software and hardware. Identifies, logs and resolves problems related to supported applications.</li><li>
Assist in analyzing, evaluating and recommending techniques for implementation of new software applications and computer equipment.</li><li>
Perform updates and maintenance of technology used by the City of Lewisville.</li><li>
Provide temporary support for transferring open records information into digital records.</li><li>
Perform all other related duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p></p>

<p></p><div><p><b>Education: </b>High School Diploma or GED Required<b>. </b>Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in information technology or a related field.</p><p><b>
Experience: </b>Six (6) months of related experience preferred.</p><p><b>
Licenses and Certifications:</b> None.</p><p><b>
Conditions of Employment: </b>Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test. Must possess a valid State of Texas Driver&rsquo;s License Class &ldquo;C&rdquo; and good driving record as defined by City policy.</p><p></p><p><b><br>

Physical Demands and Working Conditions</b><b>: </b>This is primarily a sedentary office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 25 pounds.</p><p>
Employees work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. Employees may interact with upset staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.</p><p>
