Under general direction and supervision, assists the City&rsquo;s Media Information Office with the planning and implementation of public information, communications, marketing, and outreach programs and social media activities; assists in the preparation of a variety of informational, educational, and marketing materials; collaborates with staff to maintain effective media information services; and performs related duties as assigned.</div><div><b><br>

Responds to and assists with media inquiries and coordinates media requests under the direction of Media Information Office leadership</li><li>

Maintains Media Information Office calendars, deadlines, and media request tracking systems</li><li>

<div><p><b>Education and Experience:</b><br>
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:<br>

<b>Education:</b><br>
Equivalent to a bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.<br>
<br>
<b>Experience:</b><br>
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in communications or a related field.<br>
<br>
<b>License/Certifications:</b><br>
Must possess and maintain a valid California class C driver license and have a satisfactory driving record. Other certifications may be required depending on program assignment.</p></div>
