Perform diversified clerical, secretarial, custodial, and records keeping functions as required</li><li>
Perform routine office tasks such as data entry, mail dissemination, typing letters, forms, filing, faxing and Photocopying</li><li>
 Data entry of traffic citations, traffic crash reports, DUIs, written warnings, verbal warnings, trespass warnings, and animal, parking and code violation citations.</li><li>
Maintain all Records files</li><li>
Handle expungement and sealing of records</li><li>
Control and maintain funds received for records processing, merchandise, fingerprinting, etc.</li><li>
Maintain a balance for Petty cash, and generate quarterly and annual reports</li><li>
Generate monthly fingerprint invoice for Waterman Village</li><li>
Send domestic violence and hate crime reports to proper locations, as they occur, in a timely manner</li><li>
Send Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) statistics in, as required, in a timely manner</li><li>
Log bias-based profiling information in accordance with Uniform traffic citations, written and verbal warnings.</li><li>
Prepare statistical reports on traffic incidents, problem areas and types of crimes, as needed, for administration, investigative and public request purposes</li><li>
Ensure proper filing of all traffic and criminal cases and citations, including citation transmittal and court transmittals (i.e. Driver improvement, State Attorneys Office, Juvenile and Misdemeanor court)</li><li>
Respond to public records inquiry, make copies and provide to the public, to include the media</li><li>
Data entry of Notice of existing Alarm forms and False Alarm notices</li><li>
Complete local records checks on individuals, either in person, or by mail</li><li>
Perform Notary Public Services</li><li>
Conducts inventory of merchandise</li><li>
Performs annual records management/destruction per state regulations</li><li>

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</b></div><div><ul><li>
Gain the knowledge of UCR program and procedure</li><li>
Gain the knowledge of records retention and destruction regulations and procedure</li><li>
Interpersonal skills</li><li>

Must be a self-starter and work with minimum supervision</li><li>
Gain knowledge of FDLE fingerprint submission procedure</li><li>
Gain knowledge of public records statute and department policy and procedure</li><li>
Gain the knowledge of local geography</li><li>
Ability to become a Notary Public</li><li>
Ability to type 60 w.p.m</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Required Qualifications:</b></div><div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or GED</li><li>
A minimum of three (3) years related clerical experience</li><li>
Position requires strict confidentiality of exempt criminal or victim information</li><li>
Ability to obtain law enforcement background clearance, to include a polygraph exam</li><li>
A comparable amount of education and/or experience can be substituted for the minimum qualifications</li><li>
Must have computer experience, knowledge of public records laws and MS Office required</li></ul></div><ul><li>
Complete the required National Incident Management System (NIMS) training within 6 months of completion of probationary period.</li><li>
Must have valid Florida Driver&rsquo;s License.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Physical Demands:</b></div><br>

Must be physically able to operate a variety of office machines and equipment including computer, copier, telephone, calculator, etc.</li><li>
May be subject to tension as a regular consistent part of the job.</li><li>
Must be able to operate a computer, typewriter, copier, fax machine, communication equipment, department policy and procedure manual, minor repair tools, filing cabinets and systems, telephones and intercom systems, and a cash register.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
