The First Judicial District of Pennsylvania is the Philadelphia County Court System composed of two courts: the Court of Common Pleas and the Municipal Court. Our mission is to adjudicate cases and provide services to the community within our jurisdiction while ensuring fair, timely, and accessible justice to the people of Philadelphia.
The FJD Family Division consists of the Juvenile and the Domestic Relations Branch.
The Domestic Relationship Branch has varied responsibilities in responding to complaints and petitions that can be broadly categorized under: Child and Spousal Support, Divorce, Child Custody, and Domestic Violence.
The Juvenile Branch processes cases involving juvenile delinquency where minors have been accused of crimes; dependency cases arising from allegations of neglect or abuse; truancy petitions and those alleging incorrigibility; and adoptions. Job Description 
Position Summary
This is responsible clerical-accounting work involving the application of bookkeeping principles and practices. The individual selected for this position may be assigned to either the Juvenile Branch or Domestic Relations Branch of Family Court, and may be reassigned to either Branch, as business needs might require.
An employee in this class performs standard bookkeeping duties in recording, reviewing, and processing financial records and documents. Work involves maintaining bookkeeping records including posting and proving, classifying accounting documents prior to posting, or preparing prescribed financial statements and reports. Work may involve typing, the use of standard office equipment, and the performance of related clerical tasks. Work methods are governed in detail by established account classifications and procedures. Difficult technical problems and irregularities are referred to a supervisor who observes work in progress and periodically reviews records.
Essential Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive and may vary according to which Branch of Family Court the employee is assigned. Other duties may be required and assigned.<ul><li>
Posts accounting data to ledgers, books, registers, and journals.</li><li>
Makes routine adjustments to accounts; prepares daily summary and monthly accumulative reports.</li><li>
Operates as cashier to accept payments and reconcile receipts.</li><li>
Takes routine trial balances and prepares routine financial reports.</li><li>
Maintains expenditure and budgetary control accounts and prepares necessary reports relating to account status.</li><li>
Reviews and processes approved invoices for payments.</li><li>
Analyzes forms, correspondence, audit and investigation reports and records to determine completeness, accuracy of information and compliance with rules and regulations</li></ul>

Performs related work as required.

Job Description 
Position Summary
The Transportation Grants Coordinator position supports the development and implementation of the City&rsquo;s transportation grant strategy. As a core member of the Grants team, the Coordinator will be involved in every aspect of grant preparation and submission, including identifying funding opportunities, developing applications and supporting materials, tracking awarded projects, and coordinating with internal and external partners.
The Coordinator will need strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate grant program goals, rules, and requirements. The ideal candidate will be an adept facilitator who understands the value of strategic thinking in matching funding priorities with the City&rsquo;s capital infrastructure needs, and employs a methodological and analytical approach to identifying, tracking, and complying with funding requirements.
Essential Functions<ul><li>
Coordinate with OTIS senior leadership, OTIS staff, Streets Department, and other departments to prepare grant proposals and secure funding for transportation-related projects;</li><li>
Identify funding opportunities offered by government agencies, foundations, and corporations to meet the strategic, financial, and operational transportation needs of OTIS and the Streets Department;</li><li>
Navigate and understand applicable federal and state rules and regulations governing grant awards;</li><li>
Provide quality assurance that the grant proposal is complete and in accordance with funder requirements;</li><li>
Submit grant applications on behalf of transportation and infrastructure projects for the City of Philadelphia;</li><li>
Facilitate meetings with project teams, including staff from other City departments and external consultants, to support grant preparation and reporting;</li><li>
Coordinate with regional, state, federal, and other applicable agencies, including the Federal Highway Administration, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission;</li><li>
Analyze federal, state, and City legislative and policy initiatives to determine potential funding impacts on the transportation programs;</li><li>
Support OTIS and Streets Department staff to manage grants from award to closeout;</li><li>
Track deadlines and deliverables to ensure staff meets grant-related responsibilities;</li><li>
Catalog and track grant applications and results;</li><li>
Monitor payments and funding received;</li><li>
Data collection, reporting, and presentations on grant applications and awards for internal use and to program managers, leadership, and elected officials;</li><li>
Support policy and planning work at OTIS, as required, including assisting with public engagement and data analysis on transportation projects, bike share and bus shelter program support, and electric vehicle policy;</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications<ul><li> 
Completion of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university. Optimal candidate has a planning, urban studies, or related degree and/or experience in the transportation planning field;</li><li>
Two or more years of experience in grant writing and administration or equivalent.</li></ul>
