 3-7 years in sales management within the chemical or petrochemical industry

 To provide result-driven, detail-oriented support in problem solving and project execution, while quickly adapting to Clariant's business and processes. The role demands strong business orientation, ethical conduct, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft, review, negotiate and finalize commercial and business-related agreements (e.g. Supply-, Distribution-, Tolling-Agreements, Confidential Disclosure Agreements, etc.), but also M&amp;A transactions, Joint Ventures and the like across geographies, for EMEA-Region.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure efficient, consistent, and compliant agreement management as per legal and organizational standards and policies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise and support Business Units and Functions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties for timely contract execution.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with external counsel to manage litigation, ensuring timely filings and responses.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track regulatory updates and assessing impact on business operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop deep understanding of projects and propose legal/business risk mitigation strategies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply strategic thinking with a strong problem-solving approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Leadership acumen, stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&acute;s degree in Law from a reputed university.
 </li>
 <li>
 All India Bar Examination (AIBE) and enrolled with the Bar Council of India preferred, but not mandatory.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of Antitrust law.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 10+ years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE), ideally with a mix of leading law firm and in-house corporate exposure.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven skills in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience in litigation support, including case management and documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience managing cross-border transactions and international stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to train and guide stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Very good English language skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to travel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Integrity, motivation to work together and ability to operate independently.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior exposure to the manufacturing or chemical industry preferred.
