We are expanding our dedicated payroll team and are seeking a UK-Experienced Payroll Administrator to join our Lahore office in Gulberg (Al Hafeez Heights).We are a forward-thinking practice, grounded in traditional professional standards, offering a warm working culture, structured career progression, and the opportunity to grow both technically and personally.Role OverviewThe Payroll Administrator will play a vital role in delivering accurate, timely, and compliant payroll services for a diverse UK client base. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager and wider accounts team, ensuring all clients receive a consistent, reliable, and high-quality level of service.This position offers the opportunity to strengthen your understanding of UK payroll legislation, PAYE, pensions, and compliance processes, while being part of a friendly and rapidly growing team.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for UK clients across various industries.</li><li>Manage RTI submissions, including FPS and EPS filings via HMRC.</li><li>Calculate statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, SPP, and SAP.</li><li>Maintain accurate payroll records including starters, leavers, changes of details, and variable pay.</li><li>Prepare and issue payslips, payroll summaries, P45s, P60s, and year-end submissions.</li><li>Handle auto-enrolment duties including pension assessments, enrolments, and uploads (NEST, Smart Pension, etc.).</li><li>Respond to employee and client payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Assist with CIS monthly returns and verification of subcontractors.</li><li>Liaise with HMRC regarding payroll-related matters when required.</li><li>Ensure compliance with current UK payroll legislation and keep up to date with regulatory changes.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the accounts and tax team to support clients&rsquo; wider compliance needs.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 2 years UK payroll experience within an accountancy firm or outsourced payroll bureau (Required).</li><li>Strong working knowledge of PAYE, RTI, auto-enrolment and UK payroll legislation.</li><li>Experience using payroll software such as BrightPay, Moneysoft, Xero Payroll, Sage Payroll, or similar.</li><li>High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and analytical ability.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to excellent client service.</li><li>Ability to use initiative, work independently, and manage deadlines effectively.</li><li>Willingness to learn, grow, and build strong employer&ndash;client relationships.</li><li>A proactive approach to developing both technical and soft skills.</li></ul>Why Join Clarkwell &amp; Co?<ul><li>Supportive and friendly working environment.</li><li>Continuous professional development and regular technical training.</li><li>Opportunity to work with a UK-based firm with international exposure.</li><li>Clear route for progression within the payroll and wider accounts department.</li><li>Stable, long-term career with a respected London accountancy practice.</li></ul>Experience Required<ul><li>UK Payroll: 2 years (Required)</li><li>UK Accountancy Firm Experience: Preferred</li></ul>Work Location<ul><li>In Person &ndash; Lahore, Gulberg (Al Hafeez Heights)</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
