The Web Developer is a full-stack developer responsible for improving our company websites with a focus on front-end development and WordPress site maintenance. The role is responsible for building and deploying new front-end features to our WordPress websites, handling the integration of plugins, and performing routine maintenance of our sites. The Web Developer partners with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to support innovative and transformative marketing execution as we continue to accelerate company growth.

<b>What This Role Does:</b><br>

<li>Writes well-designed, testable, efficient code by using web development best practices and evaluates existing code to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.</li>
<li>Creates basic website layouts and user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.</li>
<li>Integrates data from various back-end web services and databases.</li>
<li>Works with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.</li>
<li>Creates and maintains software documentation.</li>
<li>Ensures cross-browser compatibility of new features.</li>
<li>Stays plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and applies them to operations and activities.</li>
<li>Collaborates with internal creative team to realize visual design intent.</li>
<li>Collaborates with internal development teams for integration with Salesforce and back-end services.</li>
<li>Demonstrates a foundational understanding of digital paid media and the consumer journey to optimize the website experience and convert leads.</li>
<li>Delivers comprehensive execution of internal marketing development work such as website migration, website, and marketing portal maintenance.</li>
<li>Evaluates existing code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.</li>
<li>Performs routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance expanding, and scaling our sites.</li>
<li>Maintains communication with team members and supervisors concerning the strategic direction of our websites.</li>
<li>Analyzes and reports on website performance, including re-engineering current web analytics outputs.</li>
<li>Implements technical SEO fixes and recommendations.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<b>What You Will Bring:</b><br>
<ul>
<li>A bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or software development. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered.</li>
<li>A minimum of five (5) years of experience in advanced WordPress development and coding in B2C and B2B ecosystem.</li>
<li>Fluency in web development fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular.</li>
<li>Familiarity with back-end languages such as PHP, Java, Python, and frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, and ASP.NET.</li>
<li>UI/UX design experience with a working knowledge of graphic design and proficiency with responsive web design techniques.</li>
<li>Familiarity with API development.</li>
<li>Development and customization of existing WordPress themes & plugins.</li>
<li>Experience with best practices in code standards and working in a code repo (linting, code reviews, branching strategies, CICD).</li>
<li>Experience working with APIs and integrating 3rd party tools/services such as Zapier, Salesforce, Pardot and SQL.</li>
<li>Experience with instrumenting A/B testing tools and content targeting/personalization.</li>
<li>Experience with optimizing pages for conversion and demand generation.</li>
<li>Experience with Customer Data Platform (CDP).</li>
<li>Communication and collaboration skills to engage with multiple technical and non-technical stakeholders and different teams to deliver solutions efficiently.</li>
<li>Excellent project management skills, attention to detail, taking a proactive approach to test-driven development and best practices.</li>
<li>Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment as a team player, taking initiative in a remote setting.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.</li>

<b>Position Summary:</b><br>
The Client Care Specialist will work in a customer service environment responding to inbound customer assistance and general inquiries related to our caption service. This includes account maintenance and training.

This is a Remote/Work from Home position reporting to the CEX Operations Supervisor.
