Overview We are looking for energetic and outgoing individuals to distribute flyers hand-to-hand in busy areas around Oakland and nearby cities. This role is great for college students, recent grads, and young adults looking for flexible, fast-paced work.Responsibilities<ul><li>Distribute flyers and promotional materials directly to pedestrians and residents in designated areas</li><li>Engage with community members professionally to promote our products or services</li><li>Answer questions about the materials being distributed and provide basic information when needed</li><li>Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor to foster positive interactions</li><li>Manage time efficiently to cover assigned areas within scheduled shifts</li><li>Report on distribution progress and gather feedback from the community as required</li><li>Ensure all distribution activities comply with local regulations and company policies</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous supervising experience or background in marketing, sales, or customer service is advantageous</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively</li><li>Experience in door-to-door canvassing, telemarketing, or fundraising is preferred</li><li>Bilingual abilities are a plus to connect with a broader community base</li><li>Excellent negotiation skills and confidence in handling questions or objections</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism</li><li>Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential for timely coverage of assigned areas</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods during shifts and walk throughout designated neighborhoods</li></ul>Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, ContractPay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 4 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Opportunities for advancement</li></ul>Work Location: In person
