Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead and facilitate agile software development teams within a dynamic enterprise environment. In this role, you will champion Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), to drive project success from initiation through delivery. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence project execution, optimize workflows, and foster a culture of agility and innovation.Required Skills▸ Agile sprint facilitation &mdash; planning, standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives▸ Backlog grooming and product backlog management with government product owners▸ SAFe PI Planning facilitation in large-scale enterprise Agile programs▸ Jira and Confluence administration &mdash; sprint boards, epics, roadmaps, and reporting▸ Velocity tracking, burn-down/burn-up charts, and delivery milestone reporting for federal stakeholders▸ Risk identification, escalation, and impediment removal in a federal delivery context▸ Release planning and coordination across multiple Agile teams in a federal program▸ Federal contracting context &mdash; CDRL deliverables, QASP compliance, and government stakeholder communicationRequired &amp; Preferred Certifications▸ CSM &mdash; Certified Scrum Master (required)▸ SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) &mdash; required for enterprise environments▸ PMP &mdash; Project Management Professional (strong differentiator)▸ PMI-ACP &mdash; Agile Certified Practitioner (beneficial)▸ CSPO &mdash; Certified Scrum Product Owner (beneficial for hybrid PM/PO roles)Capabilities &amp; Federal Fit<ul><li>Navigate federal government stakeholder dynamics &mdash; contracting officers, CORs, program managers, and agency IT leadership</li><li>Deliver CDRL artifacts on schedule &mdash; weekly status reports, monthly progress reports, and program-level dashboards</li><li>Adapt Agile practices to federal acquisition constraints without losing delivery velocity</li><li>Prior SSA IT delivery experience is highly sought &mdash; Eric's SSA network is the most direct pipeline for this role</li><li>Multiple concurrent sprint facilitation across a single large federal program</li></ul>WHAT YOU'LL DO:<ul><li>Serve as the primary Agile delivery lead for a CGI Federal task area at SSA, managing one or more Scrum teams through sprint cycles and PI Planning events</li><li>Facilitate all Agile ceremonies &mdash; sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives &mdash; and maintain team health and delivery momentum</li><li>Maintain and groom the product backlog in collaboration with the government product owner, CGI program manager, and technical leads</li><li>Track and report team velocity, sprint metrics, and release-level delivery milestones to CGI leadership and SSA government stakeholders</li><li>Identify, escalate, and resolve impediments blocking team delivery &mdash; including cross-team dependencies, environment issues, approval delays, and procurement blockers</li><li>Produce CDRL-compliant deliverables including weekly status reports, risk registers, sprint dashboards, and monthly progress summaries for government contracting officers</li><li>Facilitate SAFe PI Planning events, coordinate across multiple Agile teams, and maintain program-level roadmaps in Jira and Confluence</li><li>Train and coach team members on Agile principles and practices; support continuous improvement initiatives through retrospective action items</li></ul>WHAT YOU'LL BRING:<ul><li>3&ndash;5+ years of Agile PM or Scrum Master experience, with at least 2 years on a federal IT program</li><li>CSM required; SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) required for enterprise delivery roles</li><li>PMP a strong differentiator &mdash; federal clients respond well to candidates with dual Agile + traditional PM credentials</li><li>Advanced Jira/Confluence administration &mdash; you've built sprint boards, program roadmaps, and burndown reports from scratch</li><li>Experience producing federal CDRL deliverables &mdash; you understand the difference between an Agile standup and a government status report, and you can do both</li><li>Prior SSA experience is the single biggest differentiator for this role &mdash; candidates from Leidos, Booz Allen, or CGI's prior SSA programs will be fast-tracked</li><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance</li></ul>Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hourWork Location: Hybrid remote in Washington, DC 20001
