<div>The Job:<ul><li>
Under direction of the Assistant Controller, provide support to areas and personnel throughout the department as requested to effect major systemic and process improvements and change initiatives
</li><li>Departmental Performance and Deliverables<ul><li>
Support high sense of urgency with all departmental personnel</li><li>
Help ensure all departmental personnel are aware of and adhering to all stipulated reporting deadlines</li></ul></li><li>
Departmental Policies and Procedures<ul><li>
Responsible for the enforcement of company policy and procedure for departmental personnel</li>
Responsible for maintaining and improving the form and content of all company policy and procedure in all areas of responsibility 
<li>
 
</li></ul></li><li>Financial Reporting and Analysis<ul><li>
Support accuracy in company general reporting and analysis</li><li>
Support maintaining and improving the form and content of assigned reporting<ul><li>
Ensure company reporting is presented in a format that is easily understood and readily usable by targeted constituencies</li></ul></li><li>
Ensure the timeliness and accuracy of information in assigned reporting</li>
Support the maintenance and improvement of processes used to generate and distribute assigned reporting
Ensure reporting is generated and distributed with the most efficient use of company resources 
<li><ul><li>
 
</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Internal Controls and Auditing<ul><li>
Assist in managing and protecting the assets of the company</li><li>
Assist in maintaining and improving the form and content of General Accounting internal controls</li>
Assist in maintaining and improving all audit processes and procedures related areas of responsibility 
<li>
 
</li></ul></li><li>Daily, weekly, monthly and annual/other miscellaneous tasks as required. Example tasks include:<ul><li>
Daily responsibilities:<ul><li>
Daily Cash report preparation with oversight by the General Accounting Manager</li><li>
Oversee the Subcontractor Approval Process for new subcontractors and erecting crews by following Cleary guidelines, as well as applicable State and other governmental guidelines<ul><li>
Support work of the Accounting Assistant in all tasks and matters related to Subcontractor compliance</li><li>
Serve as primary backup to Accounting Assistant</li><li>
Oversee Personal Property Tax, Secretary of State, and Wyoming out of state subcontractor job registration filings</li></ul></li><li>
Service Contract administration for Plants and Branches relating to waste removal, snow plowing and lawn maintenance</li><li>
Field department questions or problems as well as those from branches</li>
Assist other departments and answer questions 
<li>
 
</li></ul></li><li>Weekly responsibilities:<ul><li>
Review and approve new subcontractor and sub-crew reference rider contracts</li><li>
Function as the backup to the Accounting Assistant</li><li>
Assist A/P Staff as required with utility review and processing, invoice coding, statement reconciliations, etc.</li><li>
Region Manager Early Report preparation and distribution</li><li>
Branch Early Report preparation and upload to OnBase</li>
Update Projected &amp; Actual Sales and Production numbers 
<li>
 
</li></ul></li><li>Monthly responsibilities:<ul><li>
Fixed Asset maintenance and reconciliation, including related accruals and journal entries</li><li>
Partnership Financial Statement preparation and distribution with oversight from the General Accounting Manager and President&rsquo;s Executive Assistant</li><li>
Region Manager Month End Report preparation and distribution</li><li>
Branch Month End Report preparation and upload to OnBase</li><li>
Account reconciliations as assigned</li><li>
Miscellaneous duties<ul><li>
Assist in periodic inventory process</li><li>
Support accounts payable processing of subcontractor and equipment rental invoicing</li>
Various analysis and projects as directed by the Controller, Assistant Controller, and/or CFO 
<li>
 
</li></ul></li></ul></li>Annual/other miscellaneous tasks
Participate in and support preparation of the year-end financial reconciliation, closings, and reporting 
<li><ul><li>
 
</li></ul></li></ul></li><li>Other duties as assigned from time to time</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Two-year college degree, preferably in accounting, finance or related field</li><li>
3-5 years&rsquo; experience in a financial analyst or closely related position</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Desire to grow in the organization</li><li>
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)</li><li>
Working knowledge of federal and state reporting requirements</li><li>
Working knowledge of accounting, budgeting and cost control principles</li><li>
Computer literacy, Excel and Word and email proficiency minimally</li><li>
Ability to analyze data and present to users of varying knowledge and skill sets</li><li>
Work ethic that supports the stated company values</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to all levels within a company

Sales experience helpful</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record required</li><li>
