HVAC LEAD INSTALLERPOSITION SUMMARYThe HVAC Installer position replaces, modifies, and/or installs air conditioners and heaters, to meet or exceed the manufacturer's recommendations, Climate Care&rsquo;s standards and local codes. Our HVAC Installer must be able to troubleshoot, adapt, and resolve/repair all issues that arise during an installation that would keep the equipment from functioning properly. They must be able to communicate with the client regarding the proper operation and owner's maintenance of the installed equipment and answer related questions as to operation, features, and functions.ABOUT THE COMPANYWe are Climate Care; we provide Heating and Air Conditioning, and we are growing by the day. Our core values are the backbone of our business and guide our hiring process: we are accountable, transparent, result oriented, disciplined, inspirational, and aligned.OBJECTIVES<ul><li>Install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers</li><li>Travel to job sites in service area and work with the dispatch team to ensure schedule is maintained</li><li>Provide exceptional service by communicating regularly with the homeowner throughout the installation process</li><li>Utilize phone to debrief and enter relevant information</li><li>Participate in company-provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies</li></ul>COMPETENCIES<ul><li>Good customer service skills- must be friendly and approachable, good communicator and professional</li><li>High attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work</li><li>Time management skills</li><li>Ability to problem solve to effectively troubleshoot HVAC systems for installation and repair</li><li>Must have mechanical skills and understanding of tools needed to complete work on machines</li></ul>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE<ul><li>EPA License required</li><li>Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC Installation experience required</li><li>Must possess current state driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<ul><li>Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking</li><li>Must be able to lift at least 50lbs</li><li>Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations</li><li>Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife - birds, rodents, etc. (living and/or dead)</li><li>Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing</li><li>Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting</li><li>Work in high or elevated places</li></ul>COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Climate Care recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
