 Summary:
 
 
 Seeking a Contract Research Associate to support analytical research and development activities for pre-clinical and clinical gene editing programs. This lab-based role focuses on routine analytics for various nucleic acid modalities using advanced analytical and molecular biological techniques.
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Conduct routine testing for purity, impurity, stability, and identity of mRNA and gRNA molecules, including analysis of capped species, poly A tail, and concentration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support process development, method development, characterization, comparability, manufacturing, and investigations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Utilize chromatographic and electrophoretic separation techniques, such as HPLC/UPLC-UV/FLD, for analytical assessments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Apply molecular biological methods, including ELISA and PCR, for sample analysis and data interpretation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the implementation and automation of sample preparation and data analysis workflows to enhance laboratory efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Process, summarize, and interpret analytical data, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Engage in continuous learning to quickly adapt to new analytical methods and technologies relevant to gene editing programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications:
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS or MS in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related life sciences discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 3+ years of relevant experience in laboratory settings, with at least 2 years of hands-on industry experience in analytical development or quality control.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with liquid chromatography, plate reader, capillary electrophoresis, UV/VIS/FL spectroscopy, ELISA, and PCR techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with cell culture is desirable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with bioinformatics tools and automation for analytical workflows is a plus.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

 Job Description:
 
 
 
 The Surgery Scheduler / Patient Care Coordinator schedules all surgical procedures and assures that all of the appropriate clinical and insurance coding information is collected for the surgery schedule. They will request to schedule procedures from physician offices and schedule the procedure according to established guidelines. They will provide accurate information so that all department may view daily and maintains open communication with hospital department and physician offices regarding schedule changes. They will act as a central key administrative assistant who will rotate and fulfill administrative duties, dependent on the needs and requirements of the clinic. They will provide coordination of care, continuity, follow-up, and support for the patients and their families. Duties are anticipated to change daily.

 Answers the phones in a professional and courteous manner.

 Publishes an accurate daily call list and forwards to staffing department

 Calls patient with the date of surgery and schedule their post-op appointment.

 Conduct incoming/outgoing calls to patients in response to new patient referrals, in a professional and courteous demeanor.

 Obtain all necessary demographic and insurance information.

 Conduct insurance checks prior to scheduling a patient to ensure in-network eligibility.

 Assign and schedule new patients according to practice referral guidelines.

 Request and retrieve all records from outside physicians and hospitals that pertain to the first appointment.

 Maintain accurate daily records of new patient tracking for administrative team.

 Protect patient privacy by adhering to the HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.

 Contribute to a team effort by communicating effectively with other departments, as needed.

 Maintain daily operations of the office by following standard policies and procedures.

 Assist patients by providing translation services, as required.
