 New Product Development (NPD)
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Research, design, and develop formulations for prescription medicines, cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, and dermocosmetics (cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, anti-acne, depigmentation, oral supplements).
 </li>
 <li>
 Work closely with dermatologists to translate clinical requirements into stable, safe, and effective formulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop prototypes, conduct lab-scale trials, and optimize formulas for efficacy, stability, and sensorial profile.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Testing &amp; Validation
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct compatibility, stability, and preservative efficacy studies as per ICH guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with dermatology-grade standards and regulatory requirements (DCGI, FDA, AYUSH, CDSCO where applicable).
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with third-party labs for microbiology, safety, and efficacy testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Scale-up &amp; Manufacturing Support
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Transfer bench-scale formulations to pilot and commercial scale.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support contract manufacturing partners by providing technical documents (batch records, SOPs, product dossiers).
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot production issues and ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Documentation &amp; Compliance
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain detailed formulation records, lab notebooks, and technical data sheets.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare regulatory documentation required for product approval and certifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Innovation &amp; Research
 
 </li>
 <li>
 Stay updated with global skincare trends, new active ingredients, and delivery systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluate novel raw materials (peptides, botanicals, biotech actives) and vendor capabilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Recommend improvements in formulations for efficacy, safety, and cost optimization.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Qualifications &amp; Skills
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 M.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Sc (Cosmetic Science, Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field).
 </li>
 <li>
 2&ndash;6 years of hands-on experience in skincare/cosmetic/dermatology formulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of actives (retinoids, clindamycin, adapalene, kojic acid, arbutin, AHAs, peptides, sunscreens, etc.).
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with emulsions, gels, suspensions, serums, ointments, and controlled release formulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements for dermo-cosmetic and prescription categories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Innovative mindset with problem-solving abilities.
 </li>
