 We&rsquo;re looking for a confident and organised People Operations Team Leader to take day-to-day operational oversight of our employed staff stream. You&rsquo;ll coordinate the work of a small team of two Administrators responsible for onboarding, employee lifecycle changes, and payroll preparation &mdash; helping to deliver a consistent, accurate, and high-quality service across the business.
 
 
 This role reports to our People Analytics &amp; Operations Manager and works closely with her to embed strong processes, maintain compliance, and continuously improve how our People Operations function works.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide day-to-day oversight, guidance, and support to the People Operations Administrators.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate the onboarding process for employed staff, ensuring it runs efficiently and provides a positive experience for new joiners.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage employee lifecycle changes (such as contract changes, leavers, and updates) accurately and on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Take responsibility for monthly payroll preparation, ensuring all data is correct before submission to our managed payroll service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Check and verify the returned payroll from the managed payroll service, ensuring accuracy before sending for final approval and payment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as the first point of escalation for the team, helping to resolve queries and manage competing priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and manage the People Operations ticketing system, ensuring queries are allocated, tracked, and completed promptly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support audits, ensure compliance with GDPR and internal People policies, and help identify opportunities for improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience in HR or People Operations, with a solid understanding of onboarding and HR administration.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in monthly payroll process management is desirable &ndash; training will be provided where needed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to coordinate and support others, giving clear direction and maintaining strong standards of service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly organised and detail-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Confident using HR systems and platforms (experience with HiBob or similar is desirable).
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of GDPR and the handling of confidential employee information.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive, solutions-focused, and motivated by improving processes and service quality.
