We are expanding our team and looking for an Assistant Manager of Procurement to support our IT procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT products, vendor management, and procurement operations.Job Summary: The Assistant Manager &ndash; Procurement (IT Field) will play a pivotal role in supporting the procurement of IT hardware, software, services, and solutions. This position requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a keen understanding of the technology landscape. The Assistant Manager will assist the Procurement Manager in optimizing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Procurement Management:</li><li>Support the end-to-end procurement process for IT-related products and services, including identifying needs, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.</li><li>Evaluate and process purchase requisitions for IT goods and services, ensuring timely procurement and cost control.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, orders, and supplier information in procurement management systems.</li><li>Vendor Management:</li><li>Manage relationships with IT suppliers, ensuring high levels of service and adherence to contractual terms and conditions.</li><li>Conduct supplier evaluations and performance assessments to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with quality standards.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the organization.</li><li>Cost Optimization &amp; Budget Control:</li><li>Assist in the development and management of procurement budgets for IT-related expenditures.</li><li>Monitor and report on spending trends, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Market Research &amp; Analysis:</li><li>Stay updated on industry trends, new technology developments, and vendor innovations to ensure that the company is leveraging the best solutions.</li><li>Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and emerging technologies that could benefit the organization.</li><li>Compliance &amp; Reporting:</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.</li><li>Generate and present regular procurement reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators, supplier performance, and procurement cost savings.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Education:</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>Experience:</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the IT sector.</li><li>Experience working with IT vendors and a solid understanding of IT products (hardware, software, services).</li><li>Skills:</li><li>Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Familiarity with procurement software and tools.</li><li>Knowledge of contract management and procurement best practices.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with procurement in large-scale IT projects.</li><li>Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPIM).</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: From &#8377;20,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
