<p>We are hiring an AWS Bedrock AI Development Engineer in India to build and scale production-grade Generative AI and AI Agent solutions using Amazon Bedrock and the AWS cloud ecosystem. This role is highly hands-on and execution-focused. You will work on LLM-powered applications, document intelligence, RAG pipelines, and AI agents used by global enterprise customers, including regulated industries such as life sciences and healthcare.
</p><p>You will collaborate with global product, architecture, and go-to-market teams and contribute directly to AI solutions that move from prototype to production rapidly.</p>
<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h5>
<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Generative AI &amp; LLM Engineering</b></h5>
<ul><li>Design and implement Generative AI applications using Amazon Bedrock (Claude, Titan, Llama, etc.)</li>
<li>Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines</li>
<li>Develop AI Agents for task automation, orchestration, and decision workflows</li>
<li>Engineer prompts, system instructions, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Document &amp; Knowledge Intelligence</b></h5>
<ul><li>Build pipelines for document ingestion, OCR, classification, metadata extraction, and summarization</li>
<li>Implement embedding generation and semantic search using vector databases</li>
<li>Develop confidence scoring, validation checks, and human-in-the-loop review mechanisms</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>AWS Cloud &amp; Deployment</b></h5>
<ul><li>Design scalable architectures using:<br>
AWS Bedrock | Lambda, ECS, EKS, EC2 | S3, DynamoDB, Aurora, OpenSearch | Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway</li>
<li>Deploy solutions using Infrastructure as Code (CDK / Terraform / CloudFormation)</li>
<li>Monitor performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of AI workloads</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Security, Compliance &amp; Quality</b></h5>
<ul><li>Implement IAM best practices, data isolation, and secure API access</li>
<li>Support enterprise security and compliance requirements (SOC 2, HIPAA, GxP &ndash; exposure preferred)</li>
<li>Build audit trails, traceability, and explainability for AI outputs</li>
<li>Implement automated evaluation for accuracy, hallucination risk, and drift</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Collaboration &amp; Delivery</b></h5>
<ul><li>Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and UX teams across geographies</li>
<li>Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint-based delivery</li>
<li>Contribute reusable components, internal accelerators, and best practices</li>
<li>Support rapid PoCs and customer demos when required</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Required Qualifications</b></h5>
<h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Core Skills</b></h5>
<ul><li>3&ndash;7+ years of backend or platform engineering experience</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory)</li>
<li>Experience building LLM-powered systems (RAG, chatbots, AI agents)</li>
<li>Experience with vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc.)</li>
<li>Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous workflows</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>AWS Experience</b></h5>
<ul><li>Strong experience with AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, IAM, OpenSearch, CloudWatch</li>
<li>Experience deploying and supporting production workloads on AWS</li>
<li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h5>
<ul><li>Experience with Claude / Titan models on Bedrock</li>
<li>Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks</li>
<li>Experience in Life Sciences, Healthcare, BFSI, or other regulated industries</li>
<li>Exposure to AI validation, governance, or responsible AI practices</li>
<li>Experience integrating AI services with enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Snowflake, ERP)</li>
</ul><h5 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Education</b></h5>
<ul><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI/ML, or related field</li>
