This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise while contributing to impactful legal work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation and legal analysis.</li><li>Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with precision and clarity.</li><li>Manage legal case files.</li><li>Support litigation processes by reviewing documents for relevance and accuracy, maintaining case calendars, and coordinating discovery efforts.</li><li>Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing phone etiquette, and providing executive administrative support to attorneys.</li><li>Conduct thorough document review and proofreading to ensure compliance with legal standards, local rules, and accuracy before submission.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Paralegal or legal assistant experience in a fast-paced law office environment.</li><li>Familiarity with case management.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and document review.</li><li>Proficiency in data entry and document management systems with attention to detail.</li><li>Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette.</li><li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.</li><li>Strong research skills coupled with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly.
