Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position offers an exciting opportunity for growth into a unique role a professional who is passionate about providing excellent patient care the ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verification, and medical documentation, while on clinical days assist with dental office operations with clinical procedures. Salary listed is the initial orientation Salary which will be increased once the orientation period is completed.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out.</li><li>Professional phone etiquette while providing excellent customer service.</li><li>Strong customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette</li><li>Schedule appointments using dental practice management software.</li><li>Verify insurance coverage and benefits.</li><li>Handle Dental Billing efficiently</li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills including dental practice management software.</li><li>Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing instruments, taking x-rays, and managing patient comfort.</li><li>Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including documentation</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and managing health information securely.</li><li>Qualifications</li><li>At least 1 year of prior experience in a dental office .</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology.</li><li>Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English and Bilingual Spanish</li><li>Proficiency in office management tasks including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, filing, and clerical support.</li><li>Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times.</li></ul>Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Employee mentoring program</li><li>Paid orientation</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
