WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A BARTENDER</h3><ul><li>

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A BARTENDER</h3><ul><li>
Wipe, clean, and polish the bar counter, shelves, bottles, glasses, and equipment</li><li>
Inventory and stock the bar for setup with beverages, garnishes, and supplies</li><li>
Receive drink orders from patrons and wait staff</li><li>
Mix ingredients (i.e., liquor, mixers and juices, sugar, fruit, etc.) in preparing orders according to standard recipes</li><li>
Ring drink and food orders from bar patrons into the register</li><li>
Count inventories, requisition products, and restock the bar with beverages, utensils, linen, boutique products, and supplies</li><li>
Stock clean glassware on glass shelves behind the bar</li><li>
Slice, peel, and arrange fruit and other garnishes</li><li>
Disassemble, clean, and reassemble blenders and other equipment</li><li>
Receive, ring up, collect money, and make change for employee shift meals</li><li>
Count and verify banks at the start of the shift, take a revenue report from the register, and count and reconcile banks against sales at the end of the shift</li><li>
Collect and verify &ldquo;waiter banks&rdquo; from the wait staff at the end of the shift</li><li>
Check IDs to verify drinking age</li><li>
Socialize at the bar with patrons to create friendliness</li><li>
Break down the bar at the end of the day and clean counters, shelves, refrigerators, storage cabinets, sinks, floors, and restock to closing par levels</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">

 What You Will Do As a Back Waiter
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Carry the order in hand or on a tray to the table and serve the plates for the customer at the table
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist chefs with expediting orders, including assembly, garnishing, and inspecting the delicious food dishes for quality and visual appeal of the plate
 </li>
 <li>
 Read the food ticket, pick up plates, and organize them in hand or on a tray for delivery to the tables
 </li>
 <li>
 Remove dirty plates, glasses, and utensils from other tables and deliver them to the dishwashing station
 </li>
 <li>
 Notify the expediter of other tables ready to be served
 </li>
 <li>
 Replenish the stations with product and supplies including hot water, brewed coffee beans, tea, milk, utensils, plates, bread, butter, jellies, other garnishes, and condiments
 </li>
 <li>
 Break down and clean work area, store perishable product, clean equipment and supplies, and restock to end of day par levels
 
 
 </li>
