Medical Billing Associates - NOT A REMOTE POSITIONA leading national medical billing company has job openings due to recent expansion and client growth. We have an immediate opening for a Medical Billing Associates in the area of account receivable follow-up for Acute Care Hospital billing.Summary job requirements include:<ul><li>Good data entry skills, with the ability to follow specific instructions and set procedures. Type a minimum of 30 words per minute</li><li>Update patient insurance information</li><li>Work with various departments to resolve billing issues</li><li>Ability to maintain strict confidentiality</li><li>Ability to interpret insurance company policies and procedures and apply them</li><li>Basic exposure to ICD-9/ICD-10 and CPT code.</li><li>Ability to interpret billing procedure changes and assimilate information to computer entry requirements</li><li>Ability to comprehend explanation of benefits and post correctly to accounts</li><li>Ability to answer incoming phone calls from patients and other parties including demonstrating a professional, friendly phone demeanor</li><li>2 years previous experience in an insurance or medical billing for hospital based</li></ul>If you have some of these requirements and want to join a growing, exciting, inventive fast-paced leader in the medical billing industry, please attach your resume with salary requirements.
