We are seeking a Construction Testing Technician to join our laboratory team in West Valley City, UT. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on role testing construction materials and supporting infrastructure development. Whether you're starting your career or looking to grow in civil or geotechnical engineering, we want to hear from you.
Compensation: $18-20/hour (depending on experience) 
Location: Flagstaff, AZ 
FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt 
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week (schedule may vary)
What you'll be doing:<ul><li>
Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete</li><li>
Perform laboratory testing including:<ul><li>
Moisture Content</li><li>
Sieve Analysis</li><li>
Atterberg Limits</li><li>
Proctor Compaction</li><li>
Consolidation</li><li>
Direct Shear</li><li>
Compressive Strength</li></ul></li><li>
Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager</li><li>
Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards</li></ul>
What you have:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>
Valid driver's license</li><li>
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs</li><li>
Strong work ethic and attention to detail</li><li>
Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success</li></ul>
What will make you stand out:<ul><li>
1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing role</li><li>
ACI or WAQTC certifications</li><li>
Coursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geology</li></ul>
Preferred Certification(s):<ul><li>
ACI &ndash; Concrete Field Testing Technician</li><li>
WAQTC &ndash; Soils, Aggregate, or Asphalt</li></ul>
