This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, vibrant environment dedicated to hospitality excellence.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.</li><li>Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and providing personalized recommendations.</li><li>Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently by practicing excellent time management and prioritization skills.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures while balancing registers at shift end.</li><li>Support food service operations by serving snacks or small plates when required, especially during busy nights or catering events.</li><li>Collaborate with team members in nightclub or banquet settings to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold high standards of hospitality.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food industry roles such as restaurant, retail math, or food service environments; fine dining experience is highly valued.</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing and sales tracking.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in fast-paced settings like nightclubs or banquet halls.</li><li>Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders while maintaining quality and speed of service.</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and ensuring accurate billing.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper beverage preparation techniques.</li><li>Familiarity with the food industry&rsquo;s standards for alcohol serving, including responsible serving practices in nightlife or catering environments.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special event days; prior experience in brewing or hospitality is advantageous.
