The Production Team Lead will play a critical role in supporting production operations and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, while maintaining established high-quality standards and driving efficiency initiatives. This role will also lead a team of production workers, guiding them to meet production targets while upholding safety regulations and quality control measures as outlined by the General Manager.

Job Responsibilities<ul><li>
Ensures the adequate supply of raw materials, tools and resources are available for production.</li><li>
Reviews and maintains required inventory levels necessary to complete production requirements.</li><li>
Monitors production process to ensure products meet output and quality standards.</li><li>
Communicates and addresses quality issues in a timely manner with the General Manager.</li><li>
Promotes a safety-first culture by enforcing all safety requirements and addressing safety concerns.</li><li>
Motivates team members to exceed quality, safety, and production goals.</li><li>
Identifies and provides process improvement suggestions to enhance productivity and minimize waste.</li><li>
Fosters a collaborative and high-performance work environment through regular team feedback.</li><li>
Supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and streamline workflow.</li><li>
Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence achievement.</li><li>
Ensures all standard operating procedures are correctly followed.</li><li>
Manages time effectively to ensure information is provided according to project timelines.</li><li>
Assumes operational responsibilities during the General Manager&rsquo;s absence.</li><li>
Represents Coastal in a professional manner and builds collaborative relationships with employees.</li></ul> 
Position Requirements &amp; Preferred Skills<ul><li>
Minimum of 1 &ndash; 3 years of production leadership experience, paint industry preferred</li><li>
Competent at working effectively in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Strong team leader, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Proven track record of improving production efficiency and driving process optimization initiatives</li><li>
Adaptable to changing priorities and willing to assume additional responsibilities</li><li>
Proficiency in MS Office suite and production management software</li><li>
Legally permitted to work in the United States</li></ul> 
Education<ul><li>
High school degree or equivalent job-related work experience</li></ul> 
 Physical Conditions &amp; Essential Functions<ul><li>
Able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.</li><li>
Regular, full-time job attendance</li><li>
Able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing.</li><li>
Able to walk and be on your feet for at least 90% of the day.</li><li>
Able to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.</li><li>
Able to work in a warehouse environment, around related equipment.</li></ul>
