Your Role:
As Heavy Equipment Operator &ndash; Excavator / Loader you will be responsible for operating excavators and loaders to handle waste materials efficiently and safely. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.<ul><li>
Operate excavators and loaders to move, load, and transport waste materials at various sites</li><li>
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements</li><li>
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance</li><li>
Follow site plans and instructions to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment</li><li>
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations</li><li>
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any issues encountered</li><li>
Assist in site clean-up and organization as needed</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator, preferably in the waste management or construction industry</li><li>
Strong knowledge of excavator and loader operation, maintenance, and safety procedures</li><li>
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment</li><li>
Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures</li><li>
Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating heavy equipment</li><li>
Shifts may vary, 40+ hours per week (overtime available)</li></ul></div>
