The Human Resources (HR) Generalist supports the day-to-day execution of HR programs and policies across Cobblestone Fruit&rsquo;s farming and fruit divisions. This role ensures effective implementation of core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, performance support, and training coordination. The HR Generalist serves as a key resource for employees and supervisors, helping to promote a fair, compliant, and supportive work environment aligned with company values and operational goals.Duties/Responsibilities&middot; Support the implementation of HR programs by assisting with recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and routine employee communications.&middot; Assist with employee relations by responding to routine inquiries, helping resolve basic workplace concerns, and escalating sensitive or complex matters to HR leadership.&middot; Coordinate recruiting logistics, including job postings, scheduling interviews, initiating background checks, and preparing onboarding materials.&middot; Maintain and update company policies, templates, and procedures under the direction of HR management, ensuring documents remain current and accessible.&middot; Input and maintain accurate employee information in HRIS systems (UKG, Paylocity), supporting data integrity and regular audits.&middot; Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with payroll to meet deadlines; Act as the backup for full payroll processing for Farming team members.&middot; Organize and maintain personnel files in compliance with company standards and legal requirements, including I-9s and termination records.&middot; Support the HR Manager and/or Director with disciplinary documentation, exit interviews, and tracking of employee performance concerns.&middot; Help coordinate and track completion of compliance trainings (e.g., harassment prevention, safety) and support onboarding sessions and orientation programs.&middot; Assist with workers&rsquo; compensation documentation and reporting; coordinate with managers and third-party providers to ensure timely claim processing.&middot; Participate in employee recognition efforts, company events, and wellness or engagement programs that foster a positive workplace culture.&middot; Provide administrative support for HR projects, audits, and reporting needs as assigned.&middot; May assist with coordinating performance review cycles and tracking employee development plans at the direction of HR leadership.&middot; Ensure day-to-day HR tasks, such as responding to verification requests, updating job descriptions, and generating standard HR reports, are completed accurately and on time.Qualifications/Requirements&middot; Demonstrated alignment with Cobblestone Fruit&rsquo;s mission and core values.&middot; Minimum 2/+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in agriculture, food production, or manufacturing environments.&middot; Experience supporting or coordinating HR programs such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, or compliance.&middot; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Cobblestone Fruit is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support our farming operations. This role is responsible for coordinating key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, and assisting with compliance tracking. The ideal candidate is approachable, highly organized, and committed to supporting both employees and leadership. The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring HR processes run efficiently, align with company policies, and remain compliant with applicable employment laws.Duties/Responsibilities&middot; Support recruiting efforts by reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and assisting hiring managers throughout the process.&middot; Facilitate and lead new hire onboarding sessions, ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding experience for all employees.&middot; Serve as a point of contact for general employee inquiries related to benefits, policies, timekeeping, and procedures, escalating more complex matters as needed.&middot; Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including documentation for hires, status changes, training, and terminations.&middot; Monitor timecards and support wage and hour compliance by reviewing entries, identifying discrepancies, and partnering with payroll and management to resolve issues.&middot; Assist with payroll processes by ensuring employee data is accurately entered and maintained within the HRIS platform.&middot; Provide support to employees and supervisors with timekeeping systems (e.g., UKG), including troubleshooting and guidance.&middot; Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws by maintaining required documentation such as I-9s, training records, and labor law postings.&middot; Assist in tracking attendance, identifying trends, and preparing documentation for corrective actions in partnership with HR leadership.&middot; Support workplace safety and workers&rsquo; compensation processes to ensure IIPP compliance and proper HR support for the return-to-work modified duty program.&middot; Receive and respond to employee concerns, complaints, and workplace issues in a professional and confidential manner by gathering relevant information, conducting preliminary fact-finding, and partnering with senior HR leadership to determine appropriate next steps and support timely resolution.&middot; Participate in employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and programs that foster a positive and respectful workplace culture.&middot; Support audits, inspections, and compliance reporting by gathering and organizing required HR documentation.&middot; Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, including process improvements, system updates, and special projects as assigned.&middot; Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with all privacy and data protection standards.&middot;
