We thrive together in an environment that&rsquo;s as professional as it is respectful.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For in You:Skill and Experience:<ul><li>Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle to include walking around the truck and bending down to inspect tires.</li><li>Responsible for documenting pre and post-trip checks utilizing the standard Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.</li><li>Operate manual and/or automatic controls in accordance with Company safety policies and procedures to lift and load waste, operate compactor, and dispose of collected material at the designated facility.</li><li>Ability to climb in and out of truck, dump trash bags, grip and move arm freely to tighten and loosen turnbuckles to dump load or raise the tailgate.</li><li>Safely operate heavy truck along designated route and to the disposal site, keeping head on a swivel to stay alert.</li><li>Successfully read route sheets and service each customer as identified on the route sheet or as assigned by the dispatcher and/or manager.</li><li>Communicate with all customers, dispatchers, and/ or others daily to ensure all customer routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.</li><li>Notify Dispatch or Management of service interruptions including closed or impassable streets or alleyways, receptacles too heavy to service or potential safety hazards.</li><li>Immediately reports all unsafe situations or accidents to Dispatch or Management</li><li>Completely dumps all receptacles and leaves the customer&rsquo;s location clean and free of debris.</li><li>Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.</li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li></ul>Customer-Focused:<ul><li>Professional and reliable, with a customer-first attitude on every stop.</li></ul>Team Player:<ul><li>Someone who takes pride in their work, values safety, and has a customer-first attitude.</li></ul>Take the next step in your career with Cockey's Enterprises Inc. &mdash;apply today and experience the difference a supportive, respectful team can make!Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Waste management: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Rear loader truck: 1 year (Required)</li></ul>License/Certification:<ul><li>CDL A or B (Required)</li><li>DOT Card (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Halethorpe, MD 21227 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
