 Our client, an international investment fund with a 70-person NYC office, is seeking to add a Head of Shared Services/Procurement to help build out their US investment research.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Primary Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide strategic direction and oversight for enterprise service areas, including Information Technology, Procurement, and Facilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and implement operational frameworks that can grow with the business, ensuring adaptability to shifting priorities and market demands.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead, coach, and inspire functional leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner across departments to align resources, streamline processes, and eliminate redundancies for greater efficiency.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serve as the U.S. operations representative in global strategy discussions with the Head of Office, ensuring local needs are addressed within the broader enterprise context.
 </li>
 <li>
 Establish and maintain company-wide standards for tracking, managing, and delivering operational projects and strategic initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor performance metrics to ensure the quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of services delivered by internal teams and third-party vendors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop integrated strategies for IT, Procurement, and Facilities that are tightly aligned with the organization&rsquo;s overarching goals.
 </li>
 <li>
 Oversee facilities operations, including vendor management, space planning, office enhancements, and renovation projects to maintain an optimal workplace environment.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications &amp; Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 15+ years of progressively senior leadership experience in financial or professional services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of 8 years managing and developing high-performing teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven record of aligning operational execution with strategic business objectives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to promote innovation and drive results while cultivating a positive, performance-driven culture.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational discipline with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic, analytical thinker with a track record of solving complex challenges and delivering measurable outcomes.
 </li>
