 This will work on a hybrid schedule and require going on-site 2-3 days a week in Somerset County, NJ.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 About the Role
 
 
 
 The Agile Delivery Lead / Senior Scrum Master drives predictable, outcome-focused delivery across complex technology initiatives. This role blends servant leadership, delivery accountability, agile coaching, and cross-team coordination to ensure teams deliver high-quality digital and platform solutions.
 
 
 You will partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering, Architecture, Project Governance Office, and business stakeholders to maintain transparency, flow, and continuous improvement while fostering a healthy, collaborative team environment.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Agile Facilitation &amp; Team Leadership
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Serve as Scrum Master / Agile Lead for one or more cross-functional teams within PNC Insurance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Facilitate agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coach teams toward self-organization, accountability, and high performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to agile principles, working agreements, and flow-based delivery practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Foster a culture of psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous learning.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Delivery Leadership &amp; Predictability
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Maintain a disciplined sprint cadence and ensure teams deliver against commitments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Own sprint level and release level predictability using metrics such as velocity. Use Azure DevOps to visualize work, manage dependencies, and drive data-driven insights.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify, escalate, and resolve risks, issues, and blockers early.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure delivery aligns to business outcomes such as regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, customer experience, or modernization goals.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Stakeholder Partnership &amp; Decision Facilitation
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and value-driven roadmap.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Architects on capacity planning, technical health, and cross-team dependencies.
 </li>
 <li>
 Present clear options, tradeoffs, and impacts to drive timely decision making.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide transparent communication on progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership, PMO, and business partners.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Agile Coaching &amp; Organizational Maturity
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Coach individuals and teams on agile mindset, behaviors, and best practices.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support organization-wide agile maturity and standardization initiatives.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help teams evolve from ceremony-driven execution to outcome-driven delivery.
 </li>
 <li>
 Promote experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 DevOps &amp; Engineering Enablement
 
 
 
 Champion Azure DevOps best practices: dashboards, automated reporting, and work item hygiene.
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support adoption of modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated testing, trunk-based development).
 </li>
 <li>
 Encourage flow-based delivery to reduce cycle time and improve predictability.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 5+ years as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, or similar role supporting software development teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong experience working in PNC Insurance within different lines of business, including Underwriting, Data, Claims domain, etc.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery predictability in complex environments.
 </li>
 <li>
 Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile frameworks.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict?resolution skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to interpret delivery metrics and use them to improve flow and throughput.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe SM).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in P&amp;C insurance (policy, billing, claims, underwriting, or data) or other regulated industries.
 </li>
 <li>
 Background in software development, QA, product management, or DevOps.
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience coaching multiple teams or supporting agile transformations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with regulatory cycles, vendor integrations, and modernization programs.
 </li>
