<div><div><b>Systems Administrator and Network Analyst</b></div>
<div></div><div><div>Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Systems Administrator and Network Analyst. This role serves as a member of the network administration team for the college and provides support for the network and hardware functions of the Office of Information Technology. This position provides direct and indirect technology support and training to students, faculty and staff. In addition, the network administrator serves as a member of the IT Office&rsquo;s cybersecurity and information security team.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Essential Job Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li><b>Network Administration:</b>
<ul><li>Assist in administering college network systems and advise on systems issues.</li>
<li>Implement, maintain, improve and support the college&rsquo;s network infrastructure including a large wireless environment and firewall system.</li>
<li>Assist in managing single sign on and active directory.</li>
<li>Assist in developing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures regarding software and hardware, reporting, database access, license compliance, backups, system security and status reports.</li>
<li>Manage domain names and security certificates.</li>
</ul></li><li><b>Security: </b>Stay informed of all cybersecurity related compliance, advise on best practices and serve on the IT Office&rsquo;s cybersecurity and information security team while ensuring the college&rsquo;s technological environment is secure.</li>
<li><b>Desktop Support:</b> Provide technical support to faculty, staff and students regarding hardware, software, wireless connectivity, printers and other network and hardware related equipment and needs including both Windows and Apple devices.</li>
<li><b>Other:
</b><ul><li>Assist in the selection of vendors and products for network hardware, software and services.</li>
<li>Create and maintain documentation for all assigned tasks.</li>
<li>Provide campus-wide technology support through an on-call duty rotation.</li>
<li>Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of the campus-wide technology goals.</li>
<li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul></li></ul><div></div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in an information technology-related field.</li>
<li>Applicants must be currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States as we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time</li>
<li>Successful completion of a background check in accordance with Coe College policy.</li>

<div></div><div><b>Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:</b></div>
<div></div><div>Position Specific:</div>
<ul><li>Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and provide solutions.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and related technologies including: VMware server, Microsoft OS and Active Directory and networking (SANs, VLANs, Wireless, Firewalls, Google Suite).</li>
<li>Ability to develop and manage vendor relationships.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.</li>
<li>Experience with Linux and Apache.</li>
<li>Experience with mySQL or a desire to learn.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Strong planning and organizational skills.</li>
<li>Experience with Apple and Windows desktop support or a strong desire to learn both.</li>
<li>Cybersecurity related knowledge and experience or a strong desire to learn.</li>
