This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the food and beverage industry while working in a fast-paced, friendly setting.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care</li><li>Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the caf&eacute; area, including food handling and food safety practices</li><li>Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately, ensuring proper transaction processing</li><li>Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall caf&eacute; operations</li><li>Engage with customers to provide excellent service, addressing questions or concerns promptly</li><li>Follow health regulations and safety procedures related to food handling and serving</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is required; receiving constructive feedback is key.</li><li>Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast or Square</li><li>Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently</li><li>Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, positive attitude</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail</li></ul>This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the food service industry.
