<div>Main Purpose of Role:
We're hiring a motivated, detail-oriented HR &amp; Payroll Coordinator to deliver accurate, compliant payroll and provide high-quality HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
The role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless employee experience, acting as a key point of contact for payroll and HR queries while supporting the effective use of our HR systems.
We're looking for someone intuitive, welcoming, and passionate about delivering a first-class service, building strong relationships across the business, and contributing positively to the overall success of the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll &amp; Compliance
<ul><li>Own and manage the end-to-end payroll process through our new HRIS, Dayforce</li>
<li>Act as the first point of contact for payroll queries</li>
<li>Input, validate and reconcile payroll data (hours, allowances, deductions, absence)</li>
<li>Perform payroll validation checks, ensuring deadlines are consistently met</li>
<li>Maintain accurate payroll records, documentation, and audit trails</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal controls</li>
<li>Produce and submit statutory HMRC reports</li>
<li>Prepare and submit P11D returns and Class 1A NIC calculations</li>
<li>Process P46 notifications (where applicable)</li>
<li>Maintain records in line with statutory retention requirements</li>
</ul>
HR Administration
<ul><li>Deliver HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including:
<ul><li>Recruitment support (advertising, interview coordination)</li>
<li>Offer packs, contracts, and onboarding documentation</li>
<li>Employee correspondence (probation, salary reviews, leavers)</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Maintain employee records in line with GDPR and Right to Work compliance</li>
<li>Support HR meetings, including minute taking for disciplinary and grievance hearings</li>
<li>Assist with onboarding, inductions, and training coordination</li>
<li>Act as the Dayforce system expert, supporting users and resolving issues</li>
<li>Produce HR reports and support data requests</li>
<li>Contribute to system improvements, testing, and upgrades</li>
</ul>
Essential Skills:
<ul><li>Proven experience in payroll processing, with strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements</li>
<li>Experience using HR/payroll systems (Dayforce or similar)</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy</li>
<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure</li>
<li>High level of attention to detail, particularly when handling payroll data</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to employee queries</li>
<li>Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion</li>
<li>Experience supporting HR administration across the employee lifecycle</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data handling and reporting</li>
