Position Overview 
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for all clients and visitors, setting the tone for a professional and welcoming office environment. This role is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming communications, and ensuring smooth daily operations within the firm. 
The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal setting. This position plays a critical role in supporting attorneys and staff by coordinating schedules, assisting with client intake, and maintaining efficient office workflow, all while handling sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality. 
Job Duties<ul><li>
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>
Answer and direct incoming phone calls; take accurate messages</li><li>
Manage front desk operations, including mail distribution and processing outgoing mail</li><li>
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area</li><li>
Handle confidential information with discretion</li><li>
Provide administrative support to legal staff as needed</li><li>
Support all front desk functions including client and guest interactions</li></ul>
Requirements<ul><li>
Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role (legal office experience preferred)</li><li>
Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Professional demeanor and appearance</li><li>
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office technology</li><li>
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information</li><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish)</li></ul>
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
 
This role operates in a professional office setting. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The work environment is generally quiet to moderate in noise level. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times. Ability to focus and perform detailed accounting tasks for extended periods. 
 
Schedule/Hours 
Cohen Law Group Business hours are:<ul><li>
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 am &ndash; 5:30 pm</li><li>
Friday: 8:30 am &ndash; 4:30 pm</li></ul>
