Professionalism, accuracy and good communication helps to drive Continuous Improvement in our Key Performance Areas: Safety, Quality, On-Time Performance, Productivity, Profitability, and Team Development.ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE SHIPPING-RECEIVING AND INVENTORY CONTROL COORDINATOR INCLUDE:<ul><li>Be a TEAM Player, working cooperatively with customers, suppliers, drivers, co-workers and the key depts to meet our daily service demands.</li><li>WMS transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Initiate, implement and maximize strong customer service and inventory management practices, following our Standard Operating Procedures</li><li>Maintain and support the highest Cold-Link customer service levels, handling customer requests and concerns in a timely, accurate and professional manner</li><li>Utilize our Warehouse Management Systems and other office computer software and equipment as needed to support daily operations</li><li>Working safely and efficiently, making the best use of your time on the job</li><li>Other duties as directed by Cold-Link Leadership</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE OF THE SHIPPING-RECEIVING COORDINATOR INCLUDE<ul><li>Education: Minimum High School diploma</li><li>2+ years in customer service, experience in Shipping-Receiving preferred</li><li>Proficient in office technical and communications systems, equipment and MS Office applications. Warehouse Management Systems experience a plus</li><li>Ability to accurately perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide) as required for daily warehousing tasks.</li><li>Willingness to follow and support all safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Effectively communicate verbally, including speaking effectively and professionally with individuals in person and on phone</li><li>Effectively communicate in writing, including concepts and information required for daily business activities. Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, operating and procedure manuals. Based out of Miami, FL, we are committed to building a great team to serve our customers&rsquo; needs with innovative cold storage warehousing and distribution solutions.Summary:Reporting the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative initiates, coordinates and monitors logistics service and support activities that promote the highest levels of Customer Service and Continuous Improvement in our Key Performance Areas: Safety, Quality, On-Time Performance, Productivity, Profitability, and Team Development.Customer Service Representative&rsquo;s duties include the following: invoicing, product releases, the preparation of bills of lading, handling of standard quotations, inventories, emails, customer relations by phone, emails, and in person, and data entry.Essential Duties:<ul><li>To be a TEAM Player working cooperatively with the Customer Service, Shipping and Receiving, and Warehouse Operations Teams to meet daily service demands</li><li>Collaborate with our Shipping-Receiving Coordinators to assure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of our Customer Service Accounts and Activity</li><li>Perform Clerical Load Building to work both independently and with a team</li><li>Support a team-oriented work environment and culture</li><li>Initiate, implement and maximize strong customer service and inventory management practices, creating, and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures</li><li>Monitor daily and extended customer service needs, handling customer requests and concerns in a timely, accurate and professional manner</li><li>Coordinate, monitor and support warehousing activities per Cold-Link Logistics and customer requirements, including domestic and export shipping, WMS order processing, appointment scheduling, shipping audits, and order confirmations.</li><li>Provide professional customer communications, provide leadership and team with periodic updates and account reviews</li><li>Work to attain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and accuracy to build and promote good partnerships with all customers and stakeholders</li><li>Comply with all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety and housekeeping guidelines, including order and cleanliness of office work area.</li><li>Support Cold-Link Logistics and assigned customers as needed in quality and continuous improvement, watching out for all immediate and long-term risks and concerns, including the ongoing compliance, enforcement, evaluation, development and training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instructions (SWI).</li><li>Support Cold-Link Logistics Mission and Business Objectives, including all corporate and local programs that drive optimal Customer Satisfaction.</li><li>Other tasks as assigned by the Cold-Link Logistics Leadership Team.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Requirements:<ul><li>Education: Minimum High School diploma and professional development in customer service and operations support</li><li>3+ years' experience in clerical logistics and customer service.</li><li>Proficient in office technical and communications systems, equipment and MS Office applications.</li><li>Warehouse Management Systems experience strongly preferred</li><li>Must be able to read, count accurately, perform basic math calculations and write legibly.</li><li>Ability to follow directions with emphasis on safety is extremely important.</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate verbally as required to perform the position&rsquo;s assigned Duties and Responsibilities, including face-to-face and telephone conversations with customers, team members, carriers, suppliers, and others.</li><li>Ability to effectively utilize email and other digital communication tools to perform the position&rsquo;s assigned Duties and Responsibilities.</li><li>Ability to read, understand and effectively utilize documentation required to meet Cold-Link Logistics and customer requirements, including customer production schedules, dock appointments, shipping and receiving, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.</li><li>Ability to keep a professional service-oriented approach in all situations, and to escalate issues as needed to Cold-Link Logistics leadership for additional support.</li><li>Ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships and to communicate across functional lines at all levels.</li><li>Ability to learn and apply Cold-Link Logistics Safety and Quality Standards.</li><li>Ability to deliver results in a challenging fast-paced environment.</li><li>Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills required.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple high priority tasks with accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Ability to forecast and plan effectively, and to coordinate these activities among multiple departments, customers and vendors.</li></ul>Cold-Link is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
