As the Asst. Director, Technology Initiatives, you&rsquo;ll be at the heart of a fast-moving technology organization&mdash;where strategy meets execution. You&rsquo;ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the CIO&rsquo;s vision comes to life, triaging high-impact requests, enabling clarity across priorities, and ensuring the right conversations happen at the right time. Drive Clarity, Action, and Alignment at the Heart of the CIO Office - 70%</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Emergent Request Triage: Serve as the primary intake point for inbound and ad hoc requests to the CIO, assessing urgency, strategic relevance, and appropriate routing or response. Track and manage follow-ups to ensure timely resolution.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support to the Office of the CIO, including meeting preparation, coordination of leadership communications, and follow-through on action items.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Initiative Coordination: Support the execution of strategic and high-priority initiatives by facilitating alignment, surfacing blockers, and ensuring progress is visible and measurable.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the CIO Office and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment on priorities, and consistent follow-up on deliverables.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
Enable Insight and Transparency Through Information and Executive Communication - 20%</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Information Management: Maintain and organize key documentation, dashboards, and knowledge repositories to support transparency and informed decision-making.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Executive Reporting: Assist in preparing concise, high-impact updates, presentations, and reports for the CIO and senior leadership.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
Champion Continuous Improvement Across People, Processes, and Practices - 10%</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to workflows, intake processes, and communication practices within the CIO Office.</div></li></ul></div><div></div><div><div>
About You</div></div><div><div>
To qualify for this role, you must have:</div></div><div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.</div></li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li><div>
1-3+ years of experience in delivery, strategic operations, or cross-functional initiative leadership within a technology organization.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Strong understanding of Agile principles and ways of working.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without authority, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
Experience with collaboration and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro, Trello, or similar).</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
The ability to travel 3-5 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business.</div></li></ul></div><div><ul><li><div>
